I am filled up with praise right now! Filled up to almost overflowing. Kinda like my toilet was 10 minutes ago.
First the dryer. It decided not to dry. Dryers do that. What do I do? I don’t know. Wait. Yes I do. I’ll pray.
I prayed. Then my kind neighbor kindly discovered a 9 dollar fix. A kind nine dollars! Not $800 dollars. Oh thank you Jesus, it works!
He left my house with a bunch of thank-yous, you’re-amazings!
Then the toilet decided not to flush. Toilets do that. What do I do? Not call my neighbor, who’s on his way home. I prayed.
I asked God to help me find a do-I-even-own-a-plunger. He did. And, oh-good, I do.
Then I asked God to help me plunge, something I’ve never done before. After a YouTube lesson, I prayed and plunged. Then I flushed. It flushed. Oh thank you Jesus! It flushed!
Just to believe I did it, I flushed a few times, and each time I repeated Romans 8:28 — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” “All”. Like plunging “all.”
These are widow problems. These are widow prayers. They use to be husband problems, but now they’re God problems. I am filled with praise for a dryer that drys and a toilet that flushes! Filled to almost overflowing!
